David B. Canning is a successful business owner, author, and artist. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University, as well as a Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Akron. Additionally, he is an inactive licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ohio.

Canning’s professional experience includes roles as an internal auditor for a billion-dollar public company, a financial auditor for the formerly-named Deloitte & Touche, LLP, and a corporate and tax attorney for GrayRobinson, PA. He has successfully operated various small businesses, including DOGIPOT and ProPet Distributors, for nearly two decades.

He is a devoted father to six children and stepchildren and a loving husband to his wife, Jenn Canning. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, helping others achieve their best selves, reading, writing, painting, traveling, hiking, boating, working out, and golfing.
